I approached Ian Welsh of Boatshed Poole in August 2014 to sell my Rib. With the guidance offered from Ian Welsh and the Boatshed Poole Team I found the initial paperwork and required information very easy to compile. I was also given valuable assistance to establish an accurate asking price for the Rib. The viewings were conducted efficiently and I was always given comprehensive feedback from the comments made by the prospective buyers. I was given an accurate assessment on the best course of action to take concerning the adjustment of the price and the offers subsequently made by the prospective buyers. Eventually, the Rib sold in early May 2015. I was pleased with the figure it realised and the final documentation required by the buyer was compiled and completed efficiently by Jane Wilkins of Boatshed Poole. Overall, I found the sale of my Rib a very painless process due entirely to the efforts of the team at Boatshed Poole and I would thoroughly recommend other boat owners in the vicinity, who wish to sell their boats, to engage the services of the Boatshed Poole.

In October 2014 I contacted BoatShedPoole regarding a Cornish Crabber Yawl, they had for sale on their site. I rapidly arranged a viewing of the boat with Ian Welsh. He was very helpful and thoroughly professional. Regarding a couple of my questions he did not know the answers to he quickly found out the answers. Jane Wilkins has also been a point of email contact, she too has been very helpful throughout the process. Both Jane and Ian were easy to contact and responded very quickly. I seem to recall I made an offer on the same day as viewing the boat. From my point of view an excellent price was agreed with the vendor, negotiated by Ian, within a short space of time. The sale was subject to survey. All the arrangements for the surveyor were handled efficiently. Ian negotiated a reduction in the price to my satisfaction, based on the survey. He then was very helpful in advising and supporting me to arrange the stepping of the masts, securing her for transport to North Devon etc. I would thoroughly recommend BoatShedPoole to other people looking to buy a boat.
