Broker's Comments
This is a tough little yacht designed & built for big oceans, able to look after you anywhere. She's been in the same family from new in 1970.
Knowing they would be sailing all over the world, the original owners stipulating built-in additional strength. Even the cabin and decks were made double skinned and insulated.
She was built to Lloyds standards and is registered with Lloyds.
The present owner stripped the entire gel coat from the hull, replacing with nine epoxy resin gel coats, 6 with ground aluminium and 3 with ground copper.
Included are 8 sails (one needing new steel cord), heavy duty auto-helm, spares for the Yanmar diesel engine, even the Red Ensign & pole are included in the sale.
Please contact me for a complete list.
The present owner is selling due to long term ill health. His hope is that the new owner will continue to care for and enjoy her as much as his family have.
